New Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and OLED TV models were presented by Samsung in India on Wednesday. The new portfolio is available in display sizes ranging from 55 inches to 98 inches and incorporates various AI-integrated capabilities. The NQ8 AI Gen 3 SoC powers the most expensive device in the list, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K. Neural Processing Unit (NPU) included into this CPU enhances visual experience. For gaming, the company’s Motion Xcelerator technology is available on the Neo QLED models.
Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and OLED TV price in India
In India, the starting price for a Samsung Neo QLED 8K is Rs. 3,19,990, whilst the Neo QLED 4K models start at Rs. 1,39,990. Samsung’s OLED lineup is priced starting at 1,64,990 rupees.
As a special launch promotion, Samsung promises to provide consumers who buy the new 2024 smart TV series a soundbar worth Rs. 79,990 at no extra cost. Up until April 30, they can also get a Music Frame for Rs. 29,990 and, depending on the model, a Freestyle projector for Rs. 59,990. Depending on the model, the corporation also offers a 20% cashback.
Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and OLED TV specifications
There are two types of Samsung’s new Neo QLED 8K smart TVs: QN900D and QN800D. The screen sizes available for them are 65, 75, and 85 inches. The Neo QLED 4K is offered in display sizes of 55 inches, 65 inches, 75 inches, 85 inches, and 98 inches. It is available in QN85D and QN90D variations. The Samsung OLED TV comes in two models: S95D and S90D, which include displays that are 55 inches, 65 inches, 77 inches, and 83 inches. The firm claims that the screens on the S95D and S90D are glare-free.
In comparison to earlier generation Neo smart TVs, the NQ8 AI Gen 3 CPU with NPU included in the new Neo QLED 8K TV range is said to provide an eight-fold boost in neural networks from 64 to 512. Conversely, the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processors power the Neo QLED 4K TVs and OLED TVs.
Numerous AI technologies, including AI Picture Technology, AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, Real and Depth Enhancer Pro, AI Customization Mode, and AI Energy Mode, are included in the Neo QLED 8K range. Additionally, it has Samsung’s AI Sound Technology, which automatically adjusts the volume and detects background noise. The AI Auto Game Mode automatically modifies the sound and visual quality settings based on the game and genre it is playing.
It is stated that the Samsung Neo QLED 4K series has the first-ever Pantone Validated TV display with Dolby Atmos and color accuracy in history. The OLED TVs have features like Motion Xcelerator and can handle refresh rates of up to 144 Hz.
